This piece presents an interesting window into a cultural practice that has largely been forgotten in Reform synagouges. That is, namely, the practice of including an organ prelude and fugue at the beginning of the worship service. It also includes a setting of a Yehuda Halevi poem appropriate for High Holidays and Kol Nidrei -to continue the High Holiday theme.
