The prominent cantor Bruce Benson has drawn upon the deep Jewish tradition of praying for the sick, melding the ancient Mi Shebeirach prayer with a strong and insistent English refrain, "Bring Healing Now." While appropriate for concert use, its best setting might be a service, in any tradition, focused on health and healing. A truly beautiful choral piece.
