This arrangement of Ozi VeZimrat Yah, a Yemenite folksong, was originally conceived by Eleanor Epstein, conductor of the Zemer Chai chorus of Washington, D.C. Inspired by the eminent composer, Alice Parker, Eleanor set the traditional Yemenite melody as a canon of increasing intensity.
